چکیده
We present the cosmological implications from final measurements of clustering using galaxies, quasars, and Ly$\alpha$ forests completed Sloan Digital Sky Survey (SDSS) lineage experiments in large-scale structure. These experiments, composed data SDSS, SDSS-II, BOSS, eBOSS, offer independent baryon acoustic oscillation (BAO) angular-diameter distances Hubble relative to sound horizon, $r_d$, eight different samples six growth rate parameter, $f\sigma_8$, redshift-space distortions (RSD). This composite sample is most constraining its kind allows us perform a comprehensive assessment model after two decades dedicated spectroscopic observation. show that BAO alone are able rule out dark-energy-free models at more than standard deviations an extension flat, $\Lambda$CDM for curvature. When combined with Planck Cosmic Microwave Background (CMB) temperature polarization provide nearly order magnitude improvement on curvature constraints. The RSD indicate consistent predictions primary General Relativity. combining results SDSS external data, all multiple-parameter extensions remain model. Regardless model, precision $\Omega_\Lambda$, $H_0$, $\sigma_8$, remains roughly 1\%, showing changes less 0.6\% central values between models. inverse distance ladder measurement under o$w_0w_a$CDM yields $H_0= 68.20 \pm 0.81 \, \rm km\, s^{-1} Mpc^{-1}$, remaining tension several direct determination methods. The Sdss-iv Extended Baryon Oscillation Spectroscopic Survey: Quasar Target Selection
As part of the Sloan Digital Sky Survey (SDSS) IV the extended Baryon Oscillation Spectroscopic Survey (eBOSS) will improve measurements of the cosmological distance scale by applying the Baryon Acoustic Oscillation (BAO) method to quasar samples. eBOSS will adopt two approaches to target quasars over 7500 deg. First, a “CORE” quasar sample will combine the optical selection in ugriz using a li...
متن کاملA Photometricity and Extinction Monitor at the Apache Point Observatory
An unsupervised software “robot” that automatically and robustly reduces and analyzes CCD observations of photometric standard stars is described. The robot measures extinction coefficients and other photometric parameters in real time and, more carefully, on the next day. It also reduces and analyzes data from an all-sky 10 μm camera to detect clouds; photometric data taken during cloudy perio...

متن کاملUniversal fitting formulae for baryon oscillation surveys
The next generation of galaxy surveys will attempt to measure the baryon oscillations in the clustering power spectrum with high accuracy. These oscillations encode a preferred scale which may be used as a standard ruler to constrain cosmological parameters and dark energy models. In this paper we present simple analytical fitting formulae for the accuracy with which the preferred scale may be ...
متن کاملSelf Calibration of Galaxy Bias in Spectroscopic Redshift Surveys of Baryon Acoustic Oscillations
Baryon acoustic oscillation (BAO) is a powerful probe on the expansion of the universe, shedding light on elusive dark energy and gravity at cosmological scales. BAO measurements through biased tracers of the underlying matter density field, as most proposals do, can reach high statistical accuracy. However, possible scale dependence in bias may induce non-negligible systematical errors, especi...
